Accreditations and Approving Organizations
CareerSmart® Learning maintains various accreditations and provider pre-approvals in order to offer ongoing year round 24 hour continuing education units (CEU) and continuing nursing education (CNE) to healthcare professionals we serve.

We offer CEUs or contact hours to Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN), Certified Case Managers (CCM), Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC), Certified Disability Management Specialists (CDMS), and Social Workers (LCSW, MFT) nationwide. In addition, CareerSmart® provides continuing education units (CEU) or credits to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida and to Assisted Living or Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrators in California.
CareerSmart Learning was awarded Accreditation with Distinction, the highest recognition awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Accreditation Program, which recognizes organizations who provide high-quality nursing education as well as demonstrate exemplary and innovative practice in the domains of structural capacity, education design process, and quality outcomes. ANCC is an internationally recognized accreditation program developed to promote excellence in nursing. It recognizes, through its accreditation process, continuing nursing education (CNE) providers that promote nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes. Continuing nursing education courses provided by ANCC accredited providers are generally accepted by most state nursing boards in the United States, and internationally. In addition, ANCC offers many specialty certifications and credentials for nurses.
California Board of Registered Nurses (CA BRN). CA BRN approves providers of continuing nursing education (CNE) and/or nurse contact hours (also sometimes referred to as CEU) in California. California nurses, including Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) are required to complete 30 contact hours every two years in order to renew their nursing license.
Florida Board of Nursing (FL BON). FL BON utilizes CE Broker for Florida nurses, including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), aas well as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), to find, track, and approve continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours and providers. CareerSmart® reports to CE Broker on learner activity at close of each calendar month.
Georgia Board of Nursing. The Georgia Board of Nursing also utilizes CE Broker for Georgia nurses, including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to find, track, and approve continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours and providers. CareerSmart® reports to CE Broker on learner activity at the close of each calendar month.
Case Management and Counseling
Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC). CCMC is the leading and premier organization for case manager certification. CCMC approves providers of continuing education for Certified Case Managers (CCM) through their Pre-Approved Continuing Education (PACE) program.
Certification of Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) is a certification credential administered by CDMS that focuses on disability management. Many Certified Case Managers and Certified Rehabilitation Counselors also hold a CDMS as the field of disability management has been expanding.
Commission on Rehabiltiation Counselor Certification (CRCC). The CRCC oversees the certification program for certified rehabilitation counselors (CRC) through its credentialing progam and approval of continuing education providers.
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest organization of social workers in the world. NASW maintains and publishes professional standards and codes of ethics for social workers and works to advance policies impacting the profession. NASW approves providers and courses for continuing education (also referred to as CE or CEU) for social workers and NASW approved providers’ CE offerings are approved by most state boards in the United States. States that do not accept national CEU approval programs or NASW approval include New York, Michigan, West Virginia, New Jersey, Idaho, and Oregon.
California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD), Administrator Certification Section (ACS). The Administrator Certification Section of CCLD approves vendors and providers of initial certification training and continuing education for certified Administrators of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) (also referred to as Assisted Living Administrators) facilities in California. CareerSmart® Learning is an approved provider of both the 80-hour initial certification training program for RCFE Administrators as well as the 40-hours of continuing education that RCFE Administrators are required to complete every 2 years in order to renew their certificates.
