DESCRIPTION
Objectives of this course include:
- Recognize your responsibilities in providing first aid
- Identify what constitutes a medical emergency and the steps to performing basic first aid
- Describe the characteristics and first aid responses to some of the common medical emergencies experienced by dependent older adults.
Approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants in Florida.
Participants must pass the final quiz with 80% or more and may re-take the quiz as often as needed.
