Description
Course objectives include: identify the basic anatomy of the back; describe proper posture and body mechanics; describe proper lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling techniques; explain the difference between back sprain and strain; and describe how back health is impacted by weight, nutrition, and exercise.
This course is intended to contribute to the caregiver and/or staff training in the categories of Physical Needs and Limitations, Personal Care Needs. Learners must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
