Description
Course objectives include: define childhood obesity and contributing factors; identify health risks associated with childhood obesity; identify lifestyle management strategies that help to prevent childhood overweight and obesity; describe nutritional guidelines for various age groups; and recognize healthcare and educational initiatives for prevention of childhood obesity.
This course is approved for 4.0 CE/Contact Hours for the following profession:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Social Workers (NASW)
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
