This course provides an advanced overview of Alzheimer’s and strategies to help families cope with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. By the end of this course, learners will will be able to: list three barriers to getting a diagnosis; identify at least three strategies professionals can use to help families cope with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis; and discuss the importance of connecting families to Alzheimer’s specific supportive and educational programs and services.

This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for:

  • California RCFE Administrators
  • California Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (CA BRN)

Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
