Description
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to: identify legislative trends in medical error reporting requirements; identify the relationship between federal and state error reporting laws; discuss the legal implications of mandatory medical error reporting; recite three or more publicly reported quality measures; define the relationship between error reporting, quality measures, and healthcare reimbursement; and recall trends, methods, and outcomes of full medical error disclosure.
Course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida.
Learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
