Private Duty Aides in Residential Care Facilities for Elderly – 1.0 CEU/contact hr

Description

Course objectives include: define private duty aide in RCFE, explain regulations related to private duty aides in RCFE, differentiate between private duty aides, volunteers, and certified nurse assistants or home health aides, and list risks/benefits of using private duty aides in RCFE.  Course is approved for 1.0 CEU/contact hour to Nurses (all states) and Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrators in California. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2023.
