  • Explain the physiological and psychological response to trauma.
  • Recognize physical and emotional signs of abuse.
  • Discuss the nursing implications and reporting requirement when caring for a child who is a victim of abuse.

Course is approved for 2.5 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida.

Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
