DESCRIPTION
This course provides an advanced overview of the Hospice Model of Care, including the:
- Basic philosophy of hospice
- The three basic components of hospice model of care
- Roles of the hospice care team members
- Eligibility criteria
- A case study involving ethics.
Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in California. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
