By the end of this course learners will be able to:

  • Describe the difference between assisting with medications and administering medications
  • Identify the restrictions for managing medications in an RCFE
  • List at least 3 compliance requirements for managing medications in an RCFE
  • Understand the training requirements for RCFE staff to qualify to assist residents with medication management.

Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in California. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
