DESCRIPTION
This course provides an overview of Hepatitis and contains the following learning objectives:
- Describe the biology and epidemiology of hepatitis.
- define the viral and non-viral causes of hepatitis.
- identify the symptoms and diagnosis of hepatitis.
- recognize treatment options for hepatitis.
- implement methods to prevent hepatitis transmission.
This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for:
- California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
- California Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (CA BRN)
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
