Helping Families Cope with a New Alzheimer’s Diagnosis (Caregiver) – 1.0 Hour

Upon completing this course, learners will be able to:

• List three barriers to getting a diagnosis
• Identify at least three strategies professionals can use to help families cope with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis
• Discuss the importance of connecting families to Alzheimer’s specific supportive and educational programs and services.

This course is approved for 1.0 Hour for Caregivers.  Participants must pass final quiz with a score of 80% or more and may re-take the quiz as often as needed to pass.
