DESCRIPTION
This is an advanced course with technical content related to anatomy of the shoulder and elbow. By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify the basic anatomy of the shoulder and elbow.
- Describe common occupational injuries affecting the shoulder and elbow.
- List symptoms, diagnostic tools, and treatment options for various conditions of the shoulder and elbow, and develop a better understanding of the complexities involved.
- Analyze clinical and claims management implications relative to shoulder and elbow injuries, through the utilization of case scenarios.
Course is approved for 5.0 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- CA Workers’ Comp Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
