DESCRIPTION
This course provides an overview of elderly and dependent adult abuse and neglect. By the end of this course learners will be able to:
- Describe risk factors for elder and dependent adult abuse and neglect.
- Name three strategies to prevent elder and dependent adult abuse.
- List four types of abuse.
- Define the difference between abuse and neglect.
- State the mandatory reporting requirement for elder abuse and dependent adult abuse.
