DESCRIPTION
Course objectives include:
- Define childhood obesity and contributing factors.
- Identify health risks associated with childhood obesity.
- Identify lifestyle management strategies that help to prevent childhood overweight and obesity.
- Describe nutritional guidelines for various age groups.
- Recognize healthcare and educational initiatives for prevention of childhood obesity.
This course is approved for 4.0 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
