DESCRIPTION
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Describe and differentiate key leadership theories.
- Identify how leadership theories can be applied in healthcare settings to improve healthcare outcomes, using the Structure-Process-Outcome Theory and Trip Aim and Quadruple Aim frameworks.
- Apply unique leadership skills and strategies to lead by example, promote evidence-based practice, communicate effectively, build and maintain relationships, and respond to challenges in healthcare.
Course is approved for 3.0 CE/Contact Hours to the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
