DESCRIPTION

Course objectives include:

Identify the basic anatomy of the back.

Describe proper posture and body mechanics.

Describe proper lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling techniques.

Explain the difference between back sprain and strain.

Describe how back health is impacted by weight, nutrition, and exercise.

Course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
