DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to enhance the healthcare provider’s knowledge about person-centered care. By the end of this course learners will be able to:
- Define person-centered care
- Determine why person-centered care is essential
- Discuss the barriers to providing person-centered care
- List steps to establish a framework to put person-centered care into practice.
Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour to the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehab Counselors (CRC)
- Social Workers (NASW)
Learners must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. This course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
