Ergonomics: Key to Injury Prevention (Nurses, CCM, CRC, and WC CA approved) – 2.0 CE/Contact Hours

By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:

• Explain the purpose and components of an ergonomic assessment.
• Describe risk factors that lead to work injuries.
• Explain ergonomic strategies used to reduce safety hazards in the workplace.
• Explain the basic principles of workstation design and job restructuring.
• Describe tools and equipment used for ergonomic support.
• Identify benefits of ergonomic services.

This course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:

• Nurses (all states)
• Certified Case Managers (CCM)
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
• CA Workers’ Comp Claims Adjusters (WC CA)

Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
