DESCRIPTION
This is an advanced course with highly technical content related to knee exams for industrial injuries.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify supporting knee joint bones, ligaments, and muscles.
- Describe methods of assessment using inspection, testing, and diagnostic studies.
- Describe the anticipated course of treatment of common industrial knee injuries.
- List conditions which may delay rehabilitation.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 4.5 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- CA Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Course Details
To receive 4.5 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
