DESCRIPTION
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Understand the unique leadership roles and responsibilities of healthcare leaders and how they influence staff development, job satisfaction, and healthcare policy.
- Discuss the foundational knowledge of healthcare finance, including budgeting and resource allocation, cost-saving strategies, and financial decision making.
- Identify how to utilize data-driven approaches to monitor, evaluate, and improve healthcare practices.
- Understand the healthcare leader’s role in optimizing healthcare delivery systems through strategic leadership.
Course is approved for 1.5 CE/Contact Hours to the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
