DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify three effects of anxiety on the body and mind.
- Distinguish between a normal response to anxiety and overreactions by naming three of each.
- List three interventions to relieve panic-induced stress.
- Identify three symptoms of anxiety associated with returning to work and adjusting to “a new normal.”
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- Social Workers (NASW)
Course Details
To receive 1.0 contact hour of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
