DESCRIPTION
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Outline techniques to build rapport with patients
- Explain the importance of and elements within a present illness and health history interview
- Describe physical examination techniques including inspection, auscultation, percussion, and palpation
- Discuss the need to address special considerations in physical assessment including cultural sensitivity, the impact of the aging process, and communication barriers
Course is approved for 3.0 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida.
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
