Description
Course objectives include: identify the basic anatomy of the back, describe proper posture and body mechanics, describe proper lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling techniques, explain the difference between back sprain and strain, and describe how back health is impacted by weight, nutrition, and excercise. Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in California. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2023.
