Description
Course objectives include: identify the basic anatomy of the back, describe proper posture and body mechanics, describe proper lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling techniques, explain the difference between back sprain and strain, and describe how back health is impacted by weight, nutrition, and exercise.
This course is intended to contribute to the caregiver and/or staff training in the categories of Physical Needs and Limitations, Personal Care Needs. Learners must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
