DESCRIPTION
This course offers great information for any healthcare professional involved in educating new mothers on feeding infants. By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Identify the nutritional contents in breast milk and formula based milk.
- Define the recommended guidelines for the duration of breastfeeding and formula feeding.
- Describe the recommended technique or procedure for breastfeeding and formula feeding.
- Describe the advantages and disadvantages of breastfeeding and formula feeding.
Approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for:
- Nurses (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
