Description
This course offers great information for any healthcare professional involved in educating new mothers on feeding infants. By the end of this course, learners will be able to: identify the nutritional contents in breast milk and formula based milk; define the recommended guidelines for the duration of breastfeeding and formula feeding; describe the recommended technique or procedure for breastfeeding and formula feeding; and describe the advantages and disadvantages of breastfeeding and formula feeding.
Approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for Nurses (all states) and Certified Case Managers (CCM). Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before March 31, 2024.
