DESCRIPTION
Course objectives include:
- Explain the purpose and components of an ergonomic assessment.
- Describe risk factors that lead to work injuries.
- Explain ergonomic strategies.
- Identify basic principles of workstation design and job restructuring.
- Describe tools and equipment used for ergonomic support.
- Identify benefits of ergonomics.
Course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for:
- Nurses (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- CA Workers’ Comp Specialists.
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
