DESCRIPTION
This is an advanced course with highly technical content related to knee exams for industrial injuries, with the following objectives:
- Identify supporting knee joint bones, ligaments, and muscles
- Describe methods of assessment using inspection, testing, and diagnostic studies
- Describe anticipated course of treatment for common industrial knee injuries
- List conditions which delay rehabilitation.
Course is approved for 4.5 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- CA Workers’ Comp Claims Adjusters.
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
