DESCRIPTION
This course provides an overview of the Resident Rights for elderly residents living in an assisted living facility. By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Explain the importance of the Resident Rights in providing each resident with quality care and a quality living experience
- List and explain at least 5 universal resident rights, citing examples of compliance and non-compliance
- Discuss these Rights with a resident’s family and friends as necessary, as well as other Direct Care Staff, and immediately report any non-compliance issues.
Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in California. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
