DESCRIPTION
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Describe the nutritional risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease in older adults.
- Identify the dietary interventions appropriate for older adults with cardiovascular risk factors and cardiovascular disease.
- Identify lifestyle changes and dietary modifications appropriate for older adults with cardiovascular risk factors and cardiovascular disease.
- Identify menu planning techniques used in meal planning to create menus for older adults with cardiovascular disease.
