DESCRIPTION
This course provides an overview of Hepatitis and contains the following learning objectives:
- Describe the biology and epidemiology of hepatitis.
- Define the viral and non-viral causes of hepatitis.
- Identify the symptoms and diagnosis of hepatitis.
- Recognize treatment options for hepatitis.
- Implement methods to prevent hepatitis transmission.
This program has been approved for Continuing Education for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour by NAB/NCERS—Approval #20250324-1-A100117-DL. This course applies to the following professions:
- Nursing Home Administrators (all states)
- Residential Care/Assisted Living Administrators (most states)
Learners must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
