By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• Identify the components of the digestive system.
• Explain the function of the components of the digestive system.
• Describe the digestive process, including digestion, absorption, and elimination.
• Describe how the digestive system interacts with other body systems to promote overall health and homeostasis.

Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in California. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
