DESCRIPTION
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify the components of the digestive system.
- Explain the function of the components of the digestive system
- Describe the digestive process, including digestion, absorption, and elimination.
- Describe how the digestive system interacts with other body systems to promote overall health and homeostasis.
This course is approved for 1.5 CE/Contact Hours to the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- California Workers’ Comp Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
