DESCRIPTION
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Identify the major components of the integumentary system and their functions.
- Explain the physiological processes of skin regeneration, thermoregulation, and sensory perception.
- Recognize the role of the integumentary system in protecting against environmental and microbial threats.
- Examine how the integumentary system ages.
Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida.
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
