DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Describe why Stay-at-Work and Return-to-Work programs are beneficial to employers, employees, and workers’ compensation claims management.
- Identify the steps involved in creating a successful Stay-at-Work/Return-to-Work program.
- Explain the significance of federal and state laws which impact the Stay-at-Work/Return-to-Work process and the importance of maintaining legal compliance.
- Identify resources that can support the development and implementation of effective Stay-at-Work/Return-to-Work programs.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 2.5 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- CA Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Course Details
To receive 2.5 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
