DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify the different components of F-TAG 699.
- Define trauma and trauma-informed care.
- Recognize a trauma survivor using behavioral indicators.
- Examine different trauma assessment tools.
- Describe aspects of cultural competence in trauma-informed care.
- Identify the professional standards in trauma-informed care.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 1.5 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Specialists (CRC)
- Social Workers (NASW)
Course Details
To receive 1.5 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
