DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
This course includes emphasis of implications of this condition within the workplace safety and workers’ compensation arena. By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Define Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
- List the causes or contributing factors of the condition.
- Discuss signs and symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
- Describe the prevention of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and the modes of treatment.

This course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- CA Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Course Details
To receive 2.0 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
