Hernia of the Abdomen and Groin – Click and Read (Florida CNA approved) – 2.5 CE/Contact Hours

Course objectives include:

• Identify high risk occupations for hernia injury and workers compensation claims
• Describe the anatomy and risks associated with the most common types of hernias
• Describe diagnostic procedures and indications for their use
• Describe each treatment modality and associated procedures, risks, and benefits
• Discuss general post-operative care and indications for return to work.

This course is approved for 2.5 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants in Florida.

Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
