DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Compare the characteristics that contribute to stress injuries in healthcare workers.
- Identify level of stress on the stress continuum model using color-coded zones.
- Recognize how to use the seven C’s of Stress First Aid during stress reactions.
- Describe methods of improving stress, including debriefing and leveraging peer support in the workplace.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Manager (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
Course Details
To receive 1.0 contact hour of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
