Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Define delegation within the nursing profession.
- Identify common delegation pitfalls and their impact on patient care.
- Implement strategies to overcome delegation barriers.
- Understand the importance of effective communication in delegation.
- Integrate standards of care into delegation decisions.
- Identify methods and tools to evaluate and enhance delegation practices.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
Course Details
To receive 2.0 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
