DESCRIPTION
This course provides an overview of activities appropriate for an RCFE program and offers practical suggestions for implementation.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course learners will be able to:
- Identify the benefits of a quality activity program
- Identify and utilize online and community resources for activities
- Identify and avoid common pitfalls when developing an activity program in assisted living
- Develop a quality activity program that will take into account the social, physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of the residents.
Course Details
This course is intended to contribute to caregiver and/or staff training. Learners must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
