DESCRIPTION
This course is based on federal OSHA standards and is considered advanced for technical content and learning interactions.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify the most common modes of transmission for bloodborne pathogens (BBP).
- Describe the best practices for safe handling of BBP in the workplace.
- Recognize what to do if you have contact with a possible contaminant.
- Recall the BBP incident reporting requirements.
Continuing Education Credits
Course is approved for 1.5 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida.
Course Details
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
