DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify and describe the key structural components and roles of the skin.
- Identify and classify burn injuries.
- Estimate burn size using various techniques.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- California Workers Compensation Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Course Details
To receive 1.0 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
