Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Discuss wound infections and the risk of sepsis.
- Identify causes and treatments for contractures.
- Discuss burn scar management.
- Discuss plastic and reconstructive surgery.
- Discuss concepts to reintegration of the client to work, family, and society.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- California Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Course Details
To receive 2.0 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
