DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Discuss burn wound healing.
- Identify various dressings used in the management of burns.
- Define eschar.
- Discuss the significance and types of debridement for burn wounds.
- Identify temporary and permanent wound coverings for burns.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- CA Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Course Details
To receive 1.0 contact hour of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
