DESCRIPTION
This is a webcast of a seminar that was hosted by CareerSmart Learning.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Recognize the prevalence and the psychosocial impact on disability.
- Describe the five basic emotions (joy, anger, disgust, fear, and sadness) and the influences on injury recovery from the various perspectives of all involved in a claim.
- Identify how understanding emotions and relationship building enhances decision making and overall disability management outcome.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for the following professions:
- Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
- Certified Case Managers (CCM)
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC)
- CA Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters (WC CA)
Course Details
To receive 2.0 contact hours of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
