DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify and define key legal and ethical concepts relevant to the role of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Demonstrate knowledge of the legal responsibilities and liabilities associated with the CNA role.
- Apply principles of accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Evaluate case studies to identify potential legal issues and develop strategies to address them.
- Discuss the legal implications of improper documentation and the consequences for patient care and CNA practice.

Course Details
To receive 1.0 contact hour of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
