Course Objectives

By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify three effects of anxiety on the body and mind.
  • Distinguish between a normal response to anxiety and overreactions by naming three of each.
  • List three interventions to relieve panic-induced stress.
  • Identify three symptoms of anxiety associated with returning to work and adjusting to “a new normal.”

Continuing Education Credits

This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for:

  • California RCFE Administrators
  • California Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (CA BRN)

Course Details

Learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.

In accordance with Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, continuing education credits for California RCFE Administrators cannot exceed a total of ten (10) hours per calendar day—whether earned through in-class or interactive online formats. Coursework completed beyond the 10-hour per day limit will not be applied toward renewal requirements nor accepted by California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Administrator Certification Section (ACS).
