Course Objectives

By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:

  • Name four symptoms of anxiety and depression.
  • Identify five interventions that reduce psychosocial stress.
  • Explain how resident rights contribute to psychosocial well-being.
  • Identify how to support residents and guide themselves to maintain psychosocial balance during the return to “normal” after a pandemic.

Continuing Education Credits

This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for the following professions:

  • Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
  • Social Workers (NASW)

Course Details

To receive 1.0 contact hour of continuing education credit, learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; the final quiz may be re-taken as often as needed.
